There was worry that it was the end of The Simpsons after the production company couldn't afford to keep it running at it's current costs and the voice actors wanted more money than their already ridic amount – they have reached an agreement & there will be 2 more seasons.
No details around amounts have been revealed, but there are claims the actors have taken a 30% pay cut in order for the show to continue.
