Twilight star Taylor Lautner conquered his worst fears recently and swam with sharks in Australia.
The actor, who was Down Under promoting his latest action film Abduction, fuelled his desire for adventure and headed to a nearby aquarium to swim, cage-free, with sharks.
He says, "Usually, when we travel, we only get to see, like, the inside of hotel rooms and I wanted to make it a point to do something exciting. And I'm terrified of sharks, so I said, 'Let's go shark diving.'"
Proudly displaying photos of himself underwater in a scuba suit with the fierce fish during an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday (21Sep11), he added, "They're (shark) definitely not great whites but they are huge... He's (the shark) literally six inches from my face and I was terrified. I was sweating bullets right there."
