What is your single about?
The song Music Won’t Break Your Heart really helps me sum up this new album because it’s all about the celebration of music.
Basically this song is about the idea that relationships can sometimes let you down in life, but music is the one relationship that won’t – it’s the one that you can turn to and will always be there for you. It can alter your mood. Bring you joy and change the way you see life.
It’s the perfect party song for me, but when I say “party”, it means something different to the way a lot of other people party. I’m not a drinker or anything like that, so the way I party is different, my idea of partying is all about the celebration of music.
Where did you record this single, and who helped you out?
The song was recorded in Australia and I worked with this production crew called DNA, they’re awesome and have done stuff for Jessica Mauboy, Timomatic and Reece Mastin.
Have you got any tours coming up?
No tours at the moment but I hope to be touring to New Zealand soon!
