There’s a rumour that SIMON COWELL has offered KATY PERRY and JOHN MAYER $20 MILLION to replace BRITNEY SPEARS and L.A. REID as judges on the next season of "X Factor".

Since Katy and John are apparently a couple, he thinks it could be a "brilliant" move to bring their chemistry to the show. And if there's any relationship-bickering . . . even better!
