The home featured in the TV series SEINFELD has been destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.

More than 200 fire fighters were called to the neighbourhood in Rockaway, Queens to put out a huge blaze which engulfed at least 50 homes.

The Seinfeld apartment was one of those.
