NEW ALBUM FEATURING THE #1 SINGLE ‘ONLY GIRL (IN THE WORLD)’ OUT NOW
She’s a world-class megastar, so naturally we’re very excited about the impending arrival of Rihanna’s fifth studio album Loud. The new album is set to arrive on November 15th and has been described by insiders as a return to the uptempo dance grooves of her earlier records.
She’s already won us over with the album’s lead single, ‘Only Girl (In the World)’ which topped the charts in New Zealand. The euphoric track was produced by Stargate, the Norwegian team whose career has been intertwined with Rihanna since 2006, including ‘Unfaithful,’ ‘Don’t Stop the Music,’ ‘Hate That I Love You’ (featuring Ne-Yo), ‘Take a Bow,’ and ‘Rude Boy.’
Loud follows-up a string of amazing hit albums from the Barbados native. It started in 2005 with her debut Music of the Sun which featured the worldwide smash ‘Pon De Replay’. Following that came 2006’s A Girl Like Me which contained the back-to-back hits ‘S.O.S.’ and ‘Unfaithful’.
In 2007 Rihanna unleashed Good Girl Gone Bad which delivered the hits ‘Umbrella,’ ‘Shut Up and Drive,’ ‘Hate That I Love You’ (featuring Ne-Yo), and ‘Don’t Stop the Music’. This incredible album was later repackaged as Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded featuring even more huge tracks - ‘Take A Bow,’ ‘Disturbia,’ and ‘Rehab’.
Last year saw the release of Rated R and again Rihanna dealt to the charts with ‘Russian Roulette,’ ‘Hard,’ ‘Rude Boy’ and ‘Te Amo’.
Earlier this year Rihanna teamed up with Eminem on the epic single ‘Love The Way You Lie’ which also reached #1 on the NZ singles chart. Her star is definitely shining once again and the timing couldn’t be better for a hot new album from Rihanna.
