RIA is a young female recording artist from South Auckland that sings a mixture of pop, R & B and reggae. RIA delivers a uniquely, smooth, soulful sound that captivates audiences.

RIA started performing at a young age before progressing in her teens to leading an all girl band "Vivah" to becoming
winners of the national Smokefree Pacifica Beats in 2007. RIA is a graduate from the Music & Audio Institute of NZ (MAINZ) and singing tutor at the Otara Music Centre (OMAC).

RIA is an engaging performer with an upbeat sound and a fresh, young, independent look. As a solo artist RIA is now in the process of completing her debut album and releasing her latest singles Call My Name and Over You.

And the difference between RIA and rihanna, RIA knows how to sing live without going flat, RIA is also a role model for the youngstars and Rihanna's image isn't something you'd like to see your daughter imitating right?
