The Edge has married three sets of complete strangers over the years – all of who are still happily married and have children. Our most recent match make was Paul and Chantelle. Paul is a horse trainer in Christchurch and Chantelle was on a working holiday from Canada when they married in September 2007. They have a two year old son called Taylor and on Friday gave birth to their second baby, Summer Margaret Court. She was born at 2pm, weighing 5.8lb.
And Vaughan Smith from Fletch and Vaughan’s afternoon show on The Edge has become a first time dad. His wife Sharde gave birth to a baby girl six weeks earlier than expected! She weighed 4 pounds 12 and is doing really well. They named her Indie Harper Smith.
