One Direction and Justin Bieber have been clashing heads to see who will hold the record for the most views of a music video in a 24hr period on VEVO. 

Justin Bieber initially broke the record with his video 'Boyfriend' but that was recently taken from him by the One Direction boys with the video for their new single 'Live While We're Young'.

When the One Direction video went live, it gained 8.34 million views in a 24 hour period, but Justin's new single Beauty and a Beat feat Nicki Minaj has hit 10.6 million hits in the same time frame leaving Jusitn the victor...for now.
