A representative for Nicole Scherzinger has shot down reports suggesting the singer was photographed kissing Chris Brown at a Los Angeles nightclub on Tuesday.

Several gossip sites published photos of Brown, who is dating model Karrueche Tran, leaning in close to the former Pussycat Dolls star's face while partying at hotspot Supperclub.

Editors suggested the pair were locking lips in the blurry snaps, however, a representative for the 34 year old insists they are old friends and were just trying to hear each other over the loud music.

A spokesperson tells TMZ.com, "There is absolutely no truth to the ridiculous story... The photos that have surfaced are (of) old friends who were trying to talk at a very loud club. I guarantee there will be no photos of them kissing."
