Lady Gaga has landed in New Zealand!

She tweeted this morning: "Just arrived in New Zealand, greeted at 7am by all my beautiful fans, glitter faces + police. Can't wait to perform the show of a lifetime."
Minutes later, Gaga tweeted again: "Listening to The Edge. Catch me if you can kiwis. I'm in a walka. Play telephone?x"
At the time, Jay-Jay, Mike & Dom were on air asking if anyone had spotted Lady Gaga at Auckland Airport Friday morning - and Lady Gaga herself was listening!
A crazy turn of events happened next, Dom gave out The Edge office phone number on air in an open plea for Lady Gaga to call in for a live interview, fans started tweeting her like crazy asking her to call in too and what happened next? She called!

“I just left the airport and I got into the car and I asked them to put my favourite pop music station on, so they put you guys on.” Lady Gaga said to Jay-Jay, Mike & Dom.
In an NZ exclusive interview, Lady Gaga reiterated to her "little monsters" that she brought her full Monster Ball tour to NZ, for two near-sold out nights at Vector Arena.

“I put in a little extra money this year for the freight so that all the fans here could see the exact same show that everyone else sees all over the world. This is not going to be an abridged show; they’re going to see the real Monster Ball.”

“I love them [the fans] so much and I think it’s really unfair that in some places, I have some friends that live down here and they always say that nobody ever brings their full show, so I just thought it was really important ‘cause I love my little monsters down here so much and it’s a big exciting week because the ‘Telephone’ video is coming out tonight so it’s going to be a really explosive and powerful show and I just wanted to call in and thank you guys for playing my music, it really means so much for me.”

So what is Gaga doing when she gets down time in New Zealand?
"I'm working on my next album, so i'm writing alot" Jay-Jay then says she hopes Gaga gets inspiration while she's down in New Zealand, Gaga said: "I definately will."
