We all know
Fall Out Boy have been on a break for a bit, "decompressing". Singer
Patrick Stump has started up his own solo project (although he was quick to add he didn't want to be labeled a "solo artist") and the other guys are just chillin.
But was the "break" just a quick answer to try and salvage a band falling apart?
According to
Pete Wentz' tweets and posts on his blog last night... Fall Out Boy are no more.
Amongst all the cryptic and excessive communication from Pete to his fans, the clearest message we got was he's saying the band have grown apart and he doesn't want to continue with FOB.
"I don't know the future of Fall Out Boy. It's embarrassing to say one thing and then have the future dictate another. As far as I know Fall Out Boy is on break (no one wants to say the 'H' word,)" Wentz wrote. "As much as I don't have a solo project, I also can't predict that I'd ever play in Fall Out Boy again, not due to personal relationships as much as [that as] a band we grew apart.
"In this statement I'd like to include there is the possibility that FOB will play again without me, or I will be a part of it when everyone is on the same page. It is no one's fault, and there is no animosity about the decision," the statement continued. "I felt as fans, you deserve to know. There is no singular reason for this. The side projects or bands are supported by all members of the band. I am the single biggest fan of FOB and if this is our legacy, then so be it. I am proud of it."
It's not clear if the other band members know about the situation, though drummer Andy Hurley tweeted "Nothing is official. I have no idea what's going to happen. That's the most direct answer I can give/"
Lady Gaga cried after singing with Elton John at the Grammys!
She said after the show... 'I’m just so happy, I can’t say enough and Elton was so amazing and the performance was really truly magical. I had been fantasising about this performance piece for a while and we got to do it, and I’m just really truly floored.
'I ruined all of my make-up right before the show. Crying, I was just so happy.'
