Courtney Love wants to compare livers with Keith Richards

+ Linkin Park talks new album, Michael Jackson confirmed for Grammys performance in 3D!

Courtney Love wants to compare livers with Keith Richards

Courtney Love is a strange one. You'd think with all your public past of boozing and drugging it up alot (and now losing custody of her only daughter), she's come out saying she wants to compare livers with 66-year-old Keith Richards because they both have a history of heavy drinking! (Yeah, respeciable eh!)
She said: 'I wanna meet Keith Richards, I’ve never met him. I don’t know what I’m gonna say to him, but I’m gonna touch his liver and I’m gonna let him touch my liver and it’ll be awesome.
'I’m gonna make him lift up his shirt and I’m gonna say, ’Can I touch your liver?’ And I’m gonna touch where his liver is and see if it’s putrefied or something. I think we both must have incredibly healthy livers. We must!'
She may get her chance too, they might be working together soon on a song.

Linkin Park have finally spoken out about their new album they're working on at the moment (they've been keeping pretty quiet about it all!). They've said its gonna be completely different to what LP fans would normally expect...
"The album is going really well — we decided to go with Rick Rubin [Producer] again, he's been in the studio with us. And we've been working in a different studio than we did the last record in, we decided to go back to the studio we did Hybrid Theory and Meteora in," Mike Shinoda said to MTV.com. "It's been going great, I feel like it's an entirely different process and an entirely different style of music than anything we've done before. It's hard to place. People keep asking me, 'What does it sound like?' and it's hard to describe. When people hear it, they're going to have a tough time saying that it falls into a category."

Michael Jackson has been confirmed to perform at the Grammys this year (well, kinda...).
Remember that bit in his "This Is It" concert movie with the little girl in the forest? Well, that's the part they're gonna use on The Grammys show but it's going to be the full extended video and in 3D!!
Ken Ehrlich, Grammy co-executive producer and friend of Michael's, said: "It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael, and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes."
Some of the world's biggest stars - including Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson and Usher - will take to the stage to sing alongside the epic 3D video of MJ's 'Earth Song', and sets of 3-D glasses are to be distributed across America so TV viewers can enjoy the visuals fully.

Looks like Britney Spears has way too much money to spend... a hotel has come out saying the singer and her boys stay at their hotel a few days a month even though it's only MINUTES away from her own home! A source at the hotel said: "She’s no reason to be here. Last time she had staff running around after her kids as they had both caught flu and she had no medicine for them."
"She uses the gym, is waited on and she uses the babysitting service."

Rihanna was on Oprah the other day and revealed she's distressed by the disaster in Haiti and has been having sleepless nights. She pleaded with viewers for their ongoing support for the people of Haiti and added "I want everybody to do what they can right now. But it’s what’s going to happen six months from now that’s really going to count."
Rihanna performed a cover of Bob Marley's 'Redemption Song' which you can download now from iTunes, with all proceeds going to Haiti. Also, show your support by donating at redcross.org.nz.

Pixie Lott (the 19-year-old UK singer of last year's hit 'Mama Do') has admitted she cried when she met her idol Mariah Carey lately... "When I was little I listened to my mum's music. I sang all the big ballads by Mariah Carey. I met Mariah - she had a party in London and I got to meet her. I thought I'd be fine as I've met so many people but I shook her hand and started welling up. "
She told a newspaper she's still very embarrassed about the incident and wishes they had a more notable encounter... "It was so embarrassing but I was overwhelmed, she'd been my idol since I was so young. Then she went to the toilet. She didn't give me any advice on how to be a popstar."

Playboy have teamed up with MGMT and The Kooks (respectively) to bring out a line of "Rock The Rabbits" t-shirts!

Massive Attack have announced a NZ show in support of their new fifth album "Heigoland" (out Feb 5). They'll play Auckland's Vector Arena Thursday March 25, tickets on sale from Ticketmaster. The cool thing is - for the first time in Australia & New Zealand, when you buy your ticket you'll also get a free digital download of their new album! Awesome eh!
