Madonna has been named the best-selling female singles artist in U.K. chart history.She has sold more than 17.8 million singles in the U.K. since the release of her debut track Holiday back in 1984.
Rihanna is second, selling 11.4 million in the seven years since she released her first single, Pon de Replay, in 2005. Kylie Minogue took third place with 10.2 million single sales during her 25-year career, putting her ahead of Whitney Houston with 8.5 million and Lady Gaga with 7.3 million
