If News Of The World is to believed (some press say they aren't the most reliable source around), Madonna wants Lady Gaga to open for her on her upcoming world tour.

"Madonna is absolutely obsessed with Gaga," News of The World quoted a source as saying.

"She thinks she is the most cutting-edge star to come out of pop in ages and desperately wants to work with her.

"Basically Gaga can name her price," the source added.

Although Madonna has just finished her Sticky & Sweet tour, she is already locked into another deal with promoters and plans are in full swing.

What we don't get is, Madonna's had her day - and not many young people care about seeing her live... so wouldn't it make more sense for Madonna to open for Gaga? What do you think? Tell us below!
