Scene:
We're enjoying breakfast at the Cardrona Hotel before departing for the airport to fly back to Auckland. Bonus of the Cardrona hotel is a free brekkie with espresso coffee. Fletch has ordered a mochachino and it has a star decoration on top of it.
Dialogue:
Will - that coffee looks very Jewish.
Vaughan - that's a five pointed star. The star of David is a six pointed star.
Will - the Jew star?
Vaughan - I believe what you're referring to is the star of David
Will - yep. Do you suppose they've put that star on that coffee because it's Ramadan?
Vaughan - yes Will. They've put a five pointed star on a coffee as a decoration to help Jewish people celebrate a holiday that's not even a Jewish holiday with a star that's not even the star of David.
Will - is Ramadan the holiday of coffee for Jewish people?
Vaughan - Ramadan is a month where Islamic people don't eat or drink or engage in sexual things while the sun is up. It has nothing to do with Jews, coffee, stars or the Cardrona Hotel complimentary continental breakfast either.
At this stage my coffee arrives with a snowboarder decoration.
Will - Ramadan snowboarder?
Vaughan - I'm drinking this outside.
