Lance Armstrong has admitted all his wrong doing to Oprah Winfrey in an interview that has aired today [18-JAN-2013].
Armstrong admitted to his drug use during his Tour de France campaigns, including the use of blood doping, testosterone and other performance enhancing drugs.
"At the time it did not feel wrong?" Winfrey asked.
"No," Armstrong replied. "Scary."
"Did you feel bad about it?" she pressed him.
"No," he said. "Even scarier."
"Did you feel in any way that you were cheating?"
"No," Armstrong paused. "Scariest."
"I went and looked up the definition of cheat," he added a moment later. "And the definition is to gain an advantage on a rival or foe. I didn't view it that way. I viewed it as a level playing field."
Winfrey also asked Armstrong, “did you force people on your team to take drugs, were you a bully?”And Armstrong replied “I was a bully”.
It seems that the tale of a cyclist overcoming cancer and going on to win 7 Tour de France titles has been proven to be just that... Completely fiction.
