Jaimie, all pop artists use autotune even if it's not needed most of the time. The best ones can hide it and make it less noticeable.
But most pop artists do a combo of singing live and having a form of backing track going.
So she's singing here, but splitting between the original track.

This is not lip-synced. She sings to a backing track with essential vocals where she can take breaths and enhance the performance. My fav part is when she krumps!!

'Born this way' on the studio album doesn't use auto tune, hence why it sounds the same live. She is clearly singing live, as she often misses the pace of the track, and she often goes acapella, she's fantastic! And this dance is intense, nearly had a seizure watching this XD Fucking mental, reminds me off alice cooper styled theatricality, a true artist, and an incredible dance song!
