The Australian Music Awards were held last night (The ARIAS) and NZ did well! Kimbra, who collaborated with Gotye on worldwide smash Somebody That I Used to Know, was named Best Female Artist for the second year in a row!

Gotye won four out of the five categories he was nominated in - Best Album, for his Making Mirrors record, Best Male Artist, Best Pop Release and Best Australian Live Act.

Temper Trap won Best Group and Best Rock Album and One Direction won the Best International Artist trophy.
