What is your single about?

An alluring, evocative pop melody, ‘Two Way Street’ heralds Kimbra’s shimmering transition from emerging songstress to a unique pop starlet who is here to stay. Written after a stroll down Hollywood boulevard, ‘Two Way Street’ is a metaphor for love. Yearning desire is conveyed through stuttered pianos and downward progression, building into a glittering chorus of starry-eyed keys, placated by an ethereal strings arrangement. ‘Two Way Street’ has keen melodic hooks that are sure to sink deep.

Have you got any tours coming up?

Kimbra has just come off tour in the United States supporting Foster The People. She is now in Europe and has just played the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the ONE LOVE music festival in Turkey. Next, Kimbra will be in Australia for Splendour in the Grass followed by a one- off show in Auckland for AUSA at Vector Arena on July 28.
