Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce from Kris Humphries after just two months (72 days) of marriage.
The superstar appeared at a Halloween party two days ago without her hubbie, sparking rumours their marriage was on the rocks. (See photo below).

No real reason has been given for the split. But Kim has broken the silence with a statement released this morning...
"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," she said. "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."
In his own statement issued on Monday, Kris Humphries said, "I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce... I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

An insider says that one major reason why they split is that they couldn't decide where to live after their wedding. Kris wanted to move to his home state of Minnesota, and Kim wants to live where the fame (I mean her family) is – in LA.
Kardashian is citing "irreconcilable differences" for the split, and she has hired top divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her in court, according to TMZ.com.
The couple has a prenuptial agreement.
