Kim Kardashian has returned to the U.S. after cutting a promotional trip to Australia short.
The newly-single socialite, who stunned the world by filing for divorce from husband-of-72-days Kris Humphries on Monday (31Oct11), was mobbed by fans and paparazzi at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday (04Nov11) as she flew in with her sister Khloe.
The siblings spent four days in Australia, appearing on TV shows and at promotional events, before Kim pulled the plug on the tour ahead of an appearance at the Melbourne Cup Carnival this weekend (05Nov11).
Throughout her brief tour Down Under, Kardashian was constantly asked about her decision to file for divorce.
Reports suggest the nuptials were staged as part of a lucrative TV and magazine deal. Kardashian has denied the story.
