NZ musicians Kids of 88 and Zowie were invited to perform at Perez Hilton’s birthday party at the music festival South by Southwest on Saturday. They both impressed Perez big time! This is what he said about Kids of 88:
“Without a doubt, Kids Of 88 provided THE most explosive set at our One Night In… Austin event this past weekend!
Of all the acts, they were perhaps the one with the least buzz going into our party but they walked away with the most buzz and a whole bunch of new fans!
After seeing a bunch of shows, we can safely say that Kids Of 88 were THE breakout act of this year's SXSW!
Audiences unfamiliar with their music were instantly won over by their insanely catchy hooks and the rock star energy of their lead singer.”
And what he said about Zowie: “Such a kute Kiwi! New Zealand dynamo Zowie rocked our stage at Perez's 4th annual One Night In Austin event on Saturday. She may be little, but she packs a big punch!”
