Keisha Castle-Hughes scores a role in Game of Thrones

Nope, we’re not joking! Kiwi actress Keisha Castle-Hughes has scored herself a spot in the upcoming fifth season of Game of Thrones. 

Keisha is set to play Obara Sand, the eldest daughter of Prince Oberyn Martell, (Spoiler alert: who sadly died in season 4) whose mother was a Dornish peasant girl who caught the eye of the prince.

The Whale Rider star announced she will be appearing in the popular series at Comic-Con International in San Diego: "I'm super excited to be on the show. I can hardly contain myself." How cool is that?! Check out the video below for Keisha’s announcement.
