Katy Perry is set to hit the small screen in the U.K. - she's in talks with producers to front her own show.

California Gurls hitmaker, whose funnyman fiance Russell Brand hails from Britain, is currently in negotiations with chiefs at the ITV2 network.

Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, channel controller Zai Bennett says, "Katy is a target for us currently. She's brilliant, a bullseye person. We are talking to her management about various shows."

Perry made her judging debut on British TV show The X Factor on Saturday night (28Aug10).
