KATY PERRY and JOHN MAYER are reportedly taking their
relationship to the next level by house-hunting in Los Angeles.
The
couple started dating last summer and went public with its relationship before
the holidays.
Perry
and Mayer spent Christmas together with the pop singer's family in California
and they were spotted holding hands in Washington, D.C. during the inauguration
of U.S. President Barack Obama on 21 January.
Mayer,
35, has homes in Montana and the San Fernando Valley, but he has been spending
much of his time at the Firework hitmaker's pad, and now it appears they are
taking the next big step after looking at a "handful of homes" on
Sunday.
A source
tells People magazine, "He always insisted he needed his own place to make
music, but clearly that's changed."
And
their love appears to be stronger than ever - an insider adds, "They've
both acted very private in the past, but they seem comfortable about going
public with their relationship now. They seem very happy... They relate on a
lot of levels."
