Semi Precious Weapons frontman Justin Tranter had a pretty exciting weekend, what with playing the famous Lollapalooza music fest in Chicago, having pop megastar (and BFF) Lady Gaga crash his band's set and crowd surf (oh and having a cheeky pash while they're at it) and now, he's part of one of the most talked about topics this week! But, the 6.4 towering blonde (and that's without the heels) insists while it was all an amazing experience - it was just another day in the life of rock'n'roll.
On the phone from L.A., Justin told Jay-Jay, Mike & Dom how it all went down...
"It was insane. It was so so amazing. Gaga was the headliner, she went on at like 8pm, we played a much smaller stage at like 4pm. And just as I was preaching to the audience that rock'n'roll is coming back and that everyone needs to buy rock'n'roll if they want it to come back, Lady Gaga herself showed up on the side of the stage - had a blast and then luckily she stage dove - which set the world a flame. She is way too famous to be doing that (stage diving), but that is why she is so cool."

"(I was thinking) 'Oh my God, they're [the crowd] going to steal her weave! They're gonna molest her!', but people love her so much, that everyone so like oddly protective and polite - it was amazing."
On crowdsurfing and pashing Gaga: "Yes, we both stage-dove together and we had a nice kiss, while on top of 1000 kids."
"While I've kissed Gaga many a time, starting way back, it was kind of our tradition when we were playing clubs together in New York, in like 2006, 2007. She would open for us. And during our set, I would bring her up on stage and we would make out. But it hasn't happened for a couple of years, cause she's such a big star, but I think our set at Lollapalooza, we played really, really, really, well... I think she was just overwhelmed that we kind of returned to back to 2007, it was pretty amazing."
So, the big question on everybody's minds - has the kiss gone any further? Have they ever slept together? "That is private information. We have [kissed], the kiss is obviously public, cause now there's proof of it."
And while Lady Gaga looked like she was high as a kite, having the time of her life crashing SPW's set - turns out she was just on good old fashioned rock'n'roll: "Oh not at all! She is a rock'n'roll girl at heart. And when your heart is made of rock'n'roll, you don't need drugs or alcohol to cause a bang. It was 4pm, I promise she was sober."
Semi Precious Weapon's new album 'You Love You' is out now, but hey - who needs advertising when you've got a very "rock'n'roll" Lady Gaga screaming at your crowd: "Now buy their f--king CD you motherf--kers!!!".
