Rocker John Mayer has fuelled rumours of a reconciliation with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston by giving an emotional speech to fans at his gig in Los Angeles, telling the crowd: "I believe in second chances!"
The pair ended its on/off love affair for good early last year (09), and the musician recently admitted he has "never really gotten over" the break-up, insisting the relationship "had to end... for life reasons".
Speculation that the former lovers may have rekindled their romance surfaced this month and Mayer has now fuelled the gossip by talking cryptically about his love life in front of 18,000 fans at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday (22Aug10).
He told the crowd, "I believe in second chances! You might have been a pain in the a** the last time around, but you can still start over again from home base. Next time you get a text from the one you love just text back 'come over' - no matter what happened in the past. If you really love someone, just tell them and be with them."
