JESSIE J has been hit with a copyright
infringement lawsuit for allegedly stealing from another artist for her DOMINO
hit.
Jessie J, who will pick up the Silver
Clef Best British Artist Award for her songwriting skills in London on Friday, has become a target of
Welshman Will Loomis, who claims large portions of his 2008 tune Bright Red
Chords appear in her 2011 hit.
The plaintiff's lawyer Chris Arledge states, "Mr. Loomis never
consented to the use of his song and we look forward to obtaining an
appropriate remedy from the court for this clear infringement."
Loomis uploaded a video to YouTube.com
comparing the two tracks in April.
