Jessie J is a new and dynamic artist that has already made her mark on the UK and NZ and is about to mirror this around the world... she is set to become a global superstar.

Jessie J is now undoubtedly the first new artist breakthrough of 2011 and is very excited to announce she will be in NZ for a promotional visit on the 6th and 7th of May.

Her debut album, Who You Are arrived at #2 on the UK album chart, quickly gaining gold sales. A little closer to home, the album quickly broke the Top Ten on the official NZ album chart.

Of course you’re already familiar with Jessie J’s hit single Price Tag (feat B.O.B) – after climbing to the top of the UK charts, it did the same right here in New Zealand. Jessie J’s debut single Do It Like A Dude peaked at #2 on the UK Singles Chart and currently has 26 million views on YouTube.

At 17, Jessie signed her first publishing deal, after a song she wrote appeared in a cosmetic commercial. Jessie has toured opening for: Chris Brown, Girls Aloud, Jools Holland, Cindy Lauper, Taio Cruz, Macy Gray and many more.

British pop star Jessie J’s promotional visit to New Zealand which was to include a free performance at Sylvia Park, has been postponed indefinitely. In a statement, Universal Music says ‘family commitments’ are to blame. “Jessie wishes to apologise to all the New Zealand Heartbeats that were expecting her and to the media that have given such a great advance welcome,” the statement continues. Jessie J’s hits include ‘Price Tag’ and ‘Do It like a Dude’. She was scheduled to visit Auckland on May 6 and 7 and perform for fans at Sylvia Park mall. Universal Music says she hopes to reschedule the visit for some time in the near future. 3 News
