Singer-turned-fashion mogul Jessica Simpson has signed up to join model Elle Macpherson's new TV fashion contest to mentor aspiring designers.
The blonde beauty has built up a billionaire fashion empire with her Jessica Simpson Collection, which encompasses clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories, and she is set to share the secrets of her success on the upcoming reality series, Fashion Star.
Macpherson, once dubbed The Body, will present the show, which will offer 12 unknown designers the chance to win a multi-million dollar contract to launch their line in America's largest retail stores.
The programme will air on NBC, although a premiere date has yet to be set.
