Silver Linings Playbook actress Jennifer Lawrence trips up while walking onto the stage to accept her Academy Award.

Jennifer Lawrence, who picked up the night's top acting trophies, drew sympathy from the crowd as she tripped and fell in her Dior gown as she stepped up to collect her Best Actress award.

Once Lawrence made it to the stage, the audience gave her a standing ovation.

She said: "You're only standing because I tripped and that's really embarassing."
