But he also wanted to drive his silver Mercedes SL55 AMG. So he came up with a solution.Under California law, drivers have six months to get license plates after they take possession of a new car. So Steve Jobs had a deal with a leasing company where he would drive a Mercedes for JUST under six months . . . and then he'd return it and swap it out for a new one.
