Michael Jackson's embattled physician Dr. Conrad Murray has been admitted to the medical ward at the Los Angeles County Jail.The medic was taken into custody last week (07Nov11) after he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for administering the fatal dose of anaesthetic propofol which cost Jackson his life in 2009.Murray has since been placed in doctors' care behind bars, but Steve Whitmore, the spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, has refused to reveal the reason for the medical attention.Whitmore tells TMZ.com, "A person's medical or mental health status in the Los Angeles County Jail is protected under the law."The doctor faces at least two years in prison when he is sentenced on 29 November (11). He will remain in custody until the court date. WENN.com
