Three weeks ago, American chain store Walmart started a promotion where PITBULL would visit whatever Walmart store got the most "Likes" on its Facebook page.
A writer named David Thorpe, who writes for the "Boston Phoenix" and the website.
SomethingAwful.com, thought it would be funny if the Internet teamed up to send Pitbull to the most REMOTE Walmart possible.
So he rallied his readers to "like" the page for the Walmart store in Kodiak, Alaska which has about 6000 residents.
The Kodiak Walmart page ended up with more than 70,000 likes, which was more than enough to win the contest . . . so now Pitbull is heading to Kodiak, Alaska at the end of the month.
