The Golden Globes were on last night. See a full list of winners below.

Ricky Gervais did a good job of hosting but you can tell he was told to tone it down this year.

Watch some of the highlights from his opening monologue.

The red carpet fashion this year had its fair share of the good, the bad and the ugly.  The letdowns of the night were definitely Natalia Portman and Mila Kunis, who after blowing away the competition on the 2011 Oscars red carpet, failed to impress the crowd in 2012. Check out all the red carpet fashion.

Heath Ledger’s ex wife Michelle Williams, won Best Actress in a Comedy for My Week With Marilyn. Her speech was really sweet. - Watch the video.

CNN host Piers Morgan tweeted; “Michelle Williams told me she keeps her hair short-cropped because Heath Ledger liked it that way.”

Madonna won "Best Original Song" for her song "Masterpiece" which was in the movie "W.E." which she wrote and directed. Elton John was nominated in the same category for his song "Hello Hello," which was in "Gnomeo and Juliet." He looked pretty miffed that Madonna won and now I know why. On the red carpet, Elton told Carson Daily that Madonna "doesn't have an [effing] chance" of winning the award.

But Madonna DID win and she owes it all to her Manager. Watch the video.

Madonna also presented an award and Ricky Gervais introduced her saying was a “material girl” and “just like a virgin”. Madonna responded by saying, "If I'm still just like a virgin, Ricky, then why don't you come up here and do something about it? I haven't kissed a girl in a few years.” Watch the video.

Another highlight of the night was when husband and wife Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy presented an award for Best Actress in a TV Series – by singing. Watch the video.

Kelsey Grammer won Best Actor in a Drama for his role in a new TV show called BOSS. He announced that his wife Kayte Walsh is pregnant again, with TWINS!
Kelsey already has five kids with three other women. They range in age from 7 to 28.

Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs “threw a tantrum” at a pre-Golden Globes party because the bar wasn’t serving his own Ciroc brand of Vodka. The event was sponsored by rival drink Grey Goose.
