Gloria Estefan is set to follow in Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears' footsteps with an appearance in Glee, according to reports.

Ricky Martin is said to be playing a Spanish teacher with a love for music in an upcoming show, and rumours are circulating that Estefan will join him in the episode.

Reporters at EW.com claim the Cuban singer will take on the role of teenager Santana's mother, and Estefan herself hinted at the news after this week's (begs28Nov11) Glee aired.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she teased, "Did anyone see Glee last night? Santana could really use a sympathetic mommy right about now, don't you think?? Lol!"
