Lady Gaga has treated one lucky fan to a preview of songs from her new album months before the record's 2011 release.

The Poker Face hitmaker has spent much of this year (10) working on Born This Way and she debuted a few lines from the title track at the MTV Video Music Awards in September (10).

The album isn't due to hit stores until next year (11), but she let one lucky devotee, Ryan Johnson, visit her backstage at a recent show to listen to her work.

In a post on her Twitter.com page to accompany a snap of the pair, Gaga writes, "Photo of superfan Ryan and I, as he heard my new single backstage for the first time."

And in a message posted on the star's official website, Johnson gushes, "Gaga's attitude, dedication and devotion to the new material was so apparent... I could tell how proud she is. She credits Born This Way as her greatest work and it's clear to see why. 2011 is going to be Gaga's year."
