Foo Fighter’s latest album is their first to hit #1 in U.S. selling 235,000 copies in the week since its release.

It’s also debuted at #1 in eleven other countries, including New Zealand and Australia, where it had the biggest first week digital album sales in each countries’ chart history.

Wasting Light has also produced the most positive criticism in Foo Fighter’s career. Rolling Stone have called their latest album "the best Foos album since the first two," and Entertainment Weekly added " Light is a muscular rock & roll throwdown, featuring the Foos delivering exactly the kind of catchy, pummeling anthems they're known for, with total disregard for the whims of the masses." 

While the Foo Fighters are currently on tour, their documentary Foo Fighters: Back and Forth is gaining positive anticipation for its premiere, which will be this Friday in New Zealand on TV3 at 10:15pm.
