This October dynamic four-piece Hot Chelle Rae, winners of the 2011 American Music Award for Best New Artist embark on their debut headline tour of New Zealand, accompanied by one of the UK’s hottest new talents, Cher Lloyd.

Now, Hot Chelle Rae is thrilled to announce, #1 chart toppers, New Zealand Boy Band Titanium as special guests at their Wellington and Auckland concerts.

The last two months have been a roller-coaster ride for Titanium’s Andrew, Zac, Haydn, TK, Shaquille and Jordi who successfully auditioned for The Edge radio stations search to become the next Boy Band.

Recording their first ever single ‘Come on Home’ for Illegal Music, their challenge was to enter the RIANZ chart at #1 this week, which they achieved hands down.

With over 350,000 views (and increasing) on YouTube of their video ‘Come on Home’ and 6000 plus downloads of the single since its release on September 7 there was little doubt that Titanium wouldn’t scoop the $10,000 cash jackpot offered by The Edge radio station.

Titanium who are currently on a promotional tour of New Zealand meeting their many ardent fans are overwhelmed at being personally selected by Hot Chelle Rae to join them on tour performing in Wellington on October 18 and Auckland October 20.

Relative newcomers, Hot Chelle Rae kick-started their music career just three years ago with the release of their stellar 2009 debut ‘Lovesick Electric’, an album which introduced them into the market as ones to watch, featuring the energetic ‘I Like to Dance’ and ballad ‘Bleed’.

In 2011 the band followed up with their highly anticipated and hugely successful sophomore album ‘Whatever’.

Playful, stylish and radio friendly, it features the highly infectious, RIANZ platinum smash hit ‘Tonight Tonight’, platinum track ‘I Like It Like That’ and current single ‘Honestly’ which is just short of Gold.

‘Whatever’ is the fourth track to be lifted from the album - the video featuring footage shot in Australia as audiences soaked up their special guest performances throughout Taylor Swift’s sold-out tour earlier this year.

UK sensation - rapper, singer and songwriter – Cher Lloyd joins Hot Chelle Rae at both shows.

Cher Lloyd has emerged as one of London’s freshest young talents. Coming to attention on Britain’s The X-Factor with her version of ‘Turn My Swag On’ followed by a diverse range of songs taking her into the finals.

Taken under the wing of Simon Cowell, the confident, versatile vocalist released her debut single ‘Swagger Jagger’ mid-2011 and took it all the way to the top of the UK charts.

Locally Cher’s 2011 single release ‘With Ur Love’ featuring Mike Posner, was well received achieving Gold followed by her platinum smash ‘Want U Back’.New single ‘Oath’ is being serviced to radio next week and due for release October 5.

Cher’s 2011 UK debut album of street-wise pop gems, ‘Sticks & Stones’, shot to #4 on the UK album charts and debuted in the NZ Top 40. Don’t miss Hot Chelle Rae, with special guests Cher Lloyd, and Titanium live this Spring.
