French cosmetics company Lancôme have unveiled Emma Watson as the latest face of the brand.
"Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme", said Youcef Nabi, President of Lancôme International.
The 20-year-old Harry Potter star, who recently announced she'll be taking time off from her university studies to focus on acting and "other commitments" will be joining the ranks of Lancôme's other famous brand ambassadors Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz and Kate Winslet in a campaign rumoured to be shot by leading fashion photographer Mario Testino.
Last week Watson launched her eco-friendly, high fashion collaboration 'Pure Threads' with Italian designer Alberta Ferretti. The first collection comprises two dresses, a shirt, a maxiskirt and denim shorts, all adorned with lace embroidery, and goes on sale March 21.
