EMMA STONE has gone public with her Twitter.com woes, revealing she has been locked out of her social media site by a hacker, who is trying to stir up a war of words between her and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN co-star SHAILENE WOODLEY.
Bloggers, gossips and editors of news outlets have been scratching their heads over cryptic tweets Stone appeared to have sent in recent weeks that suggest she's not happy with her castmate - and how close she is becoming to her real-life boyfriend Andrew Garfield, who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
But Stone insists the messages aren't coming from her and she's powerless to do anything about them - apart from go public with the fact she's not behind them.
Phoning into Ryan Seacrest's radio show in Los Angeles on Thursday (21Mar13), the actress said, "I've tweeted one time to Seth MacFarlane; I said, 'Me too, oh boy'. And then I've been hacked ever since and they've locked me out of my Twitter so I can't access it, because they changed my email and my password. We are trying to figure out how to delete it.
"I heard the other day they tweeted an anagram about Shailene Woodley, who is one of my favourite human beings on the planet... I heard it was an anagram of Shailene and Andrew sitting in a tree... and then I heard there was a rich history of other things I've tweeted and deleted and I didn't know about any of this happening because I don't go on Twitter.
"I just had a verified account but now I want to get rid of it."
