Eddie Murphy is living by the mantra Underpromise and Overdeliver, telling people to lower their expectations of his Oscar hosting performance next year, as he thinks he’ll be rubbish.
Eddie jokes, "I think it's so funny that people think I'm perfect for this because I'm going to be horrendous. I'm gonna be the worst host that's ever hosted the show.
"I'm gonna stand there and it's just gonna be, 'And now Clint Eastwood...' - me introducing people. And I'm gonna wear a powder sky blue tuxedo and, at the end of the evening, I'm gonna urinate on myself in front of a billion people."
