Designer Michael Kors has wed his partner Lance Le Pere in New York.
The couple made the most of the state's new gay marriage laws and exchanged vows in Southampton on Tuesday (16Aug11), according to Women's Wear Daily.
Southampton Mayor Mark Epley reportedly officiated the private ceremony, which took place at Dune Beach.
Kors tells the publication, "To marry someone as wonderful and special to me as Lance barefoot on a glorious beach is more than I could have dreamed of."
The couple has been dating for almost 20 years.
