DAVID BECKHAM refuses to attend his wife Victoria's fashion shows because the singer-turned-designer becomes "unbelievably stressed" ahead of the events.

The former Spice Girl branched out into fashion when her solo career flopped, and she now boasts a highly successful line of dresses, which stars including Kate Winslet, Blake Lively and Jessica Simpson have worn.

Soccer ace David admits he's proud of his wife's achievements - but he's never seen her designs on the runway. He tells Britain's Telegraph magazine, "She gets unbelievably stressed, so I stay out of the way. And I think if I was at the show it might distract slightly from what she does."
