Actor Chris Pine has had his New Zealand driver's license suspended for six months and fined $93.

Pulled over by police on March 1 after attending a party to mark the end of filming on the movie Z for Zachariah, the 33-year-old Hollywood actor pleaded guilty to a DUI charge this morning during a hearing at the Ashburton District Court.

On the night, Pine reportedly told police that he had consumed four vodka drinks. Police then told the court this morning that his blood-alcohol level was 0.11 percent, which is over New Zealand's legal limit of 0.08 percent.

Pine stood silently throughout the hearing, allowing his lawyer Marilyn Gilchrist to enter the plea but did stop to sign autographs for fans as he left the courtroom.
