British pop star Cheryl Cole has a sparkling new sideline to add to her resume - she's designed a collection of rings for a luxury jewellery firm.

The Girls Aloud star has created her own range of bling for top European jewellers De Grisogono, which will be named Promise, in honour of her upcoming single Promise This.

It's the second lucrative deal Cole has struck with the posh company - she was paid a staggering $375,000 (£250,000) fee to perform a 30-minute set at De Grisogono's event at the Cannes Film Festival in May (10).
