Summit Entertainment has announced what all Twilight fans thought would happen all along, that Twilight: Breaking Dawn will be split into two seperate films. The first part is set for release November 18, 2011. The release date for the second was not announced.

Breaking Dawn will feature main characters portrayed by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. The rest of the cast from the previous installments, including “Cullen’s” Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, and Ashley Greene, have also signed on. Billy Burke, who portrays Bella’s father Charlie, is also on hand.

There is no word yet on whether Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen will be back in Breaking Dawn as their Volturi characters.

Academy Award winner Bill Condon has signed on to direct boths films. Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who has written all the Twilight films so far, is currently doing the massive job of writing both parts right now.

The clip introduces Riley, the three-quel’s red-eyed heartthrob, who is attempting to introduce a human to the vampire lifestyle.
