Brandon Flowers feels "strange" embarking on a solo career - because he has only ever been on stage as part of The Killers.
The rocker is preparing to put out his first solo release, entitled Flamingo, after the rest of the Mr. Brightside hitmakers decided they wanted time away from the spotlight.
And Flowers admits he would prefer to be hitting the road with his bandmates.
He tells Britain's Elle magazine, "I wrote the songs for the band. I didn't write anything for myself. I've only ever known The Killers. So it was strange once it became apparent I was doing this alone."
