But it wasn’t because he was unhappy as a teen – he accidentally ran into a lamp!
The Hangover star was goofing around and not watching where he was going, when he collided with a glass lamp, which shattered and left the then-15-year-old with several deep cuts and gashes on his face.
As a result, the actor had corrective surgery to minimise the long-term effects, and Cooper admits it was a disaster: "I couldn't move part of my face for six months!"
